Details, details. In historical fiction it is all about getting the details right. How do you really get all those nitty-gritty details? Research!
Internet, libraries, magazines, newspapers, Powell’s bookstore, personal interviews, museums – getting a complete historical look at the time period for your novel involves a lot of leg work.
Here, I’ll share some of the treasures I’ve found in my quest for historical accuracy. Since all my novels are centered around the 40s and World War II, that is what you’ll see here.
