The past few weeks have been a time of great change in my personal life – more information to come later. Now, I hope to get back to my regular blog posts and book reviews! Award News: The Christy Awards were announced on Monday and I couldn’t think of a more deserving group of nominees! Special congrats to the amazing Jill Williamson for her second Christy Award in two years in the Visionary category. Progress report on my monthly word count
Holiday and life changes have “cut” into my writing time. But everyone has excuses. “If you want to be a serious writer, you will make the time.” — (I cannot remember where I heard this or read this, or I’d give full credit where it is due.) So this past week of writing has been a challenge and a learning experience. I’m a bit behind on my projected word count, but I’m more of a sprinter than a steady marathoner.
