Apologies

Hello faithful blog readers (yes I’m talking to all three of you!) I apologize for the disruption in the regularly scheduled programming. A cold bug has overtaken my home, my husband and my own head. So I’ve been in foggy, murky congestion land for the past few days. I dearly miss my writing, my blog, my facebook…even my day job! I hope to return soon!!! In the meantime, here are some links to other FABULOUS blogs! Couldn’t agree more with this lovely post: Write Happily by Caitlin Muir Also loved this post: How authors alienate readers on social media sites by Jody Hedlund I work for a college of pharmacy,...

Writers must do the same thing: proposals, drafts, revising, marketing, social media, book signings… The list goes on and on. 2. A Designer’s Eye I’m by no means a professional or even good...

Best Blog Advice

Lately, I’ve been trying to focus my blog, improve the look, increase traffic. You know – what every blogger/writer strives for. So, I’ve taken a scientific approach, of sorts, and studied the blogs that WORK. (Note – this is a very incomplete list!) Pioneer Woman – I always end up in a spiral vortex of time and come out several hours later whenever I look at her site. She offers blogging advice here. Michael Hyatt – A leader and CEO of Thomas Nelson – enough said. He posts here about common mistakes that will lead readers to stop following your blog. Rachelle Gardner – The essential blog for writers –...
