Well it looks as if these girls were stretched out in a taffy puller or something — they’re getting so big! And those Indian Runners are just all neck. In fact, they don’t fit in the photo framing so well… Will need a wider lens, it seems. … Moved out to their temporary coop at least. 🙂 Everyone seems so happy with their new space and over the past few weeks they’ve grown into lovely little teenagers. Foghorn and one of the Rhode Island Reds: Blondie is still the sweetest, always jumping up on our hands and always content to hang out with humans. Penguin is turning into the largest of the bunch. Excited to see what she looks like in even a few more weeks! Everyone fights for the best spots on the perches. They all sleep on this one branch at night and there’s a nice little shuffle they do to fight for the highest...

The ducklings have been residents of the Miller Farm for a week now. The cuteness is still unbearable. (Also, the stink. But it’s so worth it.) Enjoy: Hope you enjoyed these! We certainly enjoy watching these little buggars! 🙂 Much love, the former rodeo-queen

Not sure where the past five weeks have gone! The flock has grown exponentially and they’re fully “feathered out.” Icarus still tries to fly the coop (so to speak) nearly every time we take the lid off. She’s got that devious look about her and is one of the largest birds. After putting more brooding sticks in the tank, we perched the feeder across two of them, which became the instant place to hang out. These birds love to be as high as they can.
